Tim Cook posts comedic ‘Good morning’ video to mark final Apple event as CEO

Tim Cook recruits celebrities to riff on his ‘Good morning’ intro in new video

Today at WWDC’s keynote, Tim Cook is expected to start off the event with his final public “Good morning” as CEO.

Cook historically has started nearly every Apple event with the same introduction. So much so that it’s become a bit of a meme.

To mark the special occasion as his final event, today Cook has shared a new video featuring himself and a variety of celebrities riffing on the “Good morning” phrase.

The CEO posted the video here on X:

The video features Rhea Seehorn from Pluribus, Brett Goldstein from Ted Lasso, Jimmy Fallon, Whoopi Goldberg, and many more celebrities.

Today’s WWDC keynote kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET, and you can watch it here.
