1. Winston | Free
Winston, a Siri-like app that only speaks and doesn’t accept commands, launched in a private beta last summer, and now the digital assistant app is redesigned and live in the App Store. A few of the fresh features include new and customizable channels, newscasts, AirPlay support, web view, and an expanded vocabulary. Check out the promo video above.

2. Talkbits | Free
Talkbits, a self-dubbed “social Walkie-Talkie” and location-based service, released its United States and United Kingdom apps for iOS and Android today. A few of the key features include live public audio streams and voice messages, cross platform push-to-talk instant walkie-talkie messenger, private and group chats, conversation history, Facebook Contacts integration, and the ability to send voice records to geotagged channels. The service works over cellular and Wi-Fi, and it is free with no advertising. Check out the promo video above.
