Nvidia updates CUDA drivers to v6.0 for Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks

NVIDIA updated its CUDA drivers to 6.0.37 for Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks today. As TonyMacx86 points out, it is for all NVIDIA products running on Mac (or Hack) hardware.

If you already have CUDA drivers installed, you can update via System Preferences > Other > CUDA or download the update directly from NVIDIA. Check the ‘Additional Information’ tab for installation instructions

To download and install the drivers, follow the steps below:

STEP 1: Review the NVIDIA Software License. Check terms and conditions checkbox to allow driver download. You will need to accept this license prior to downloading any files.
STEP 2: Download the Driver File-  CUDADriver-6.0.37-macos.dmg
STEP 3: Install

Note: Quadro FX for Mac or GeForce for Mac must be installed prior to CUDA 6.0.37 installation

  1. Double – click on CUDADriver-6.0.37-macos.dmg
  2. Click Continue on the CUDA 6.0 Installer Welcome screen
  3. Click Continue after you read the License Agreement and then click Agree
  4. Click Install on the Standard Install Screen. You will be required to enter an Administrator password
  5. Once you see the Successful Installation screen, your install is complete. No restart is required
