To counter Apple’s Health App, Google launches ‘Fit’

Today, Google launched its new Google Fit Android app, which will be the search company’s direct Android answer to Apple’s new Health app. Mountain View’s new software can be paired with compatible mobile devices to track your fitness activities like walking, running and cycling. Sound familiar?

Additionally, Google Fit pulls info from third-party applications and displays data in charts and graphs to help you keep track of your progress and goals. If you somehow find yourself disconnected from your mobile device, your data is also accessible from your desktop as well. Like Health, Google Fit is in its early stages, but its clear that it will offer features that mirror Apple’s take on fitness.

Letting Google have direct access to your health information would be foolish

Wow, they even ripped off the UI / UX from the Apple Watch, how shocking…

What happened to Google not trying to copy Apple anymore?

Same thing as Samesung not trying to copy Apple any more.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery . . . . except when you are trying to confuse the consumer!

      Copy the market leader!

Is that the best you got? A typical one-liner about meds? You trolls seem to be running out of material now that Apple is crushing Android I’m every way that counts, now don’t let the door hit you on the way out idiot.

  7. Apples Health app is the worst, measure every step per minute?, I would rather make adjustments to it to cover steps per hour, or over a 8 hour shift, Apples Health app is a disaster right now…..
