Apple has published the eighth beta version of OS X El Capitan to its registered developers. The operating system is expected to be released later this year, with an announcement coming at Apple’s September 9th event.
The newest build likely contains only some final bug fixes for the pre-release software since it will be released to the public in the near future. However, recent betas have introduced some new settings and features, so it’s possible there could be more in this update.
Both betas are available in the Updates tab of the Mac App Store. Developers should be able to grab their update from the Dev Center soon.

Updating!
I don’t know why, but on my iMac I get the updates and on my MacBook I don’t. On my MacBook I still don’t have public beta 5. Any help?
If I remember right you can opt out from beta updates in the system preferences, which may keep you on your current beta version until the final release arrives. Maybe you did unintendedly this somehow. You could try to visit the beta website again and re-register your device – in the worst case it doesn’t do anything, but it may fix the issue.
If I try to re-register I get a message that I already used the code and nothing happen. :(
have you tried looking in the purchased section of the app store? mine is shown there.
Download, update and up to go now! I will post any changes i¨ll see, if it¨s someone. Hope¨s all members due the same, so we can make this evening (8 a¨clock in Norway) or day bit exciting , with deep dive into the system looking for small but useful improvements and changes! :)
