Along with the public release of iOS 9.0.1 and the beta release of iOS 9.1, Apple has seeded a second version of the tvOS beta to developers who are running pre-release hardware that was given out earlier this month.
The new tvOS build can be downloaded from Apple’s Developer Center now and comes with a build number of 13T5365h. We’ll keep this post updated with any new changes as we discover them.
Apple also published a new beta version of Xcode 7.1 with support for tvOS. According to the release notes, this Xcode build will allow developers to pair their new Apple TV remote with the simulator for testing.

Hello.
Is there any benefit to downgrading to 9.0? I am participating in Apple Beta Software Program. I am still running (PB)9.1 (13B5110e). I have read the 9.0 release is not as stable as (PB 9.1). Would appreciate any input,
Thanks

there is no benefit at all. 9.1 is way more stable.
Is it a coincidence that tvOS can be accidentally read fast as “TIVOs”?
Haha pretty sure that’s a coincidence. There is watchOS and there will be carOS and whatever else they decide to make.
3rd gen ATV not supported…is it going to be like this for the final release version as well? That would absolutely blow…
Of course it is, the old ATV is probably going to get an update but not to “tvOS”. It’ll continue to be a streaming only device with no true apps (it has about a 16th of the CPU and GPU power and 1/4 the RAM and storage.
3rd gen will get the upcoming live tv service but not the OS update
They sent this email to all developer afaik. I was not selected for pre-release hardware but still got the email.
