With tomorrow’s launch of the iPhone 6s, Apple will also be debuting a new look for its retail employees. According to a tipster, Apple Store workers will be sporting a new (space?) gray shirt, replacing the well-known blue versions that helped employees stand out in crowded stores.
A photo of the new shirt is included below, via our tipster.
Update: And here they are:

Grey matches the company logo colors, should have been done long time ago.
News updates nobody gives a shît about for $100, Alex.
I would have expected a rose gold colored shirt for the launch.
Something offtopic: is there any way to open Facebook links directly in safari? I hate it when the link is opened in the app. Same for Twitter. Just awful …
You used to be able to open a Facebook link in Safari, but about 1 or 2 months ago, it was disabled in a Facebook app update. If anybody knows a workaround, by all means let us know. (Sorry for being off topic too).
You can still do it by hitting the ‘share’ button in the top right of the screen. It gives you the same menu as before, with the option to open in safari.
When you click on a link in Facebook, you can click share in the upper right hand corner, then click Open in Safari. Latest version of Facebook running on iOS 9.1 public beta.
thanks! i knew that but is there no direct way to do that?! :-/
I thought people hated the blue shirts because it reminded them of Best Buy employees. Gray makes sense to me. Though I’ve never struggled to pick out an Apple store employee no matter what they were wearing.
“Though I’ve never struggled to pick out an Apple store employee no matter what they were wearing.”
They are the people who are ever so optimistic and happy!
I don’t like them. I remember seeing them in Red before, what happened to them?
Don’t they typically break out the red shirts for Christmas?
Oh really? That’s so cool, I didn’t realise.
That’ll increase the costs for the fake Apple stores!
Things you notice waiting 45 minutes past your Genius Bar appointments at the 5th Ave NY Apple Store: They had different versions of the blue shirt — collared cotton polos in both long and short sleeve — tshirts like the new gray ones… Maybe more, it’s been a while.
The employees that work out look great in the new gray shirts. The others looked like they were celebrating national-see-my-fatrolls-day. The iPad Pro coincidentally launches on national-backfat-day ;-)
