Google Maps comes to the Apple Watch in latest iOS app update

Google has released an updated version of its mapping application for iOS that includes several new features, including an Apple Watch app. Along with the new watch app comes the ability to compare ETAs for different modes of transportation, such as biking and walking.

Users can now also call a business or get directions to a location from a list. A number of undisclosed bug fixes were also applied.

Google Maps is available on the App Store for free.

  1. Apple Watch app is pure bullshit, far away from Apple Maps app. Ok, Apple Maps is not the best, there are some major improvements that is required but in overall performance and usability is better than Google Maps.
