The Apple jobs website has been revamped, with a new video providing a taste of what it’s like to work for one of the world’s most desirable employers.
Do more than you ever thought possible. Have more impact than you ever imagined.
This is where some of the world’s smartest, most passionate people create the world’s most innovative products and experiences. Join us and you’ll do the best work of your life — and make a difference in other people’s lives.
A new About Apple page aims to give a flavor of what it’s like to work for the company, albeit heavily biased toward new product development roles. Apple does, though, suggest that anyone can be an innovator, no matter what their role.
Everyone here is an innovator, or an innovator-to-be. That’s how we create the kinds of products and experiences that few ever imagine. For example, engineers here developed frameworks that have transformed the speed and accuracy of medical research. Others figured out how people in wheelchairs can track their activity with Apple Watch to promote their fitness. Our retail teams revolutionized the industry by reinventing the entire customer experience. And each day at lunch, the environmentally friendly pizza box patented by a chef in our café reminds us that innovation comes from everyone in every role at Apple.
Although the company’s senior execs are the public face of the company, the new Apple jobs page emphasizes just how many people get to work on every aspect of a new product design.
Just one example: The incredibly advanced camera features in every new iPhone are not the result of a few dozen people. They’re the product of hundreds of optical technology experts who complement each other’s thinking. Multiply that effort across every feature in every Apple product, and you’ll get an idea of how important collaboration is here.
The site also suggests that Apple jobs in other areas of the business can be just as exciting.
For every product we create, we consider the impact it will make — on our customers, on our people, and on our planet. Which is why we go deep into our supply chain to help safeguard the human rights of the people who make our products. We invest in education programs so that people everywhere have the opportunity to realize their potential. We build assistive technology into all our products to make them accessible to people with disabilities. And we lead the industry with efforts to reduce our impact on climate change, find ways to use greener materials, and conserve the Earth’s valuable resources.
The company also stresses that Apple jobs are open to everyone.
Apple is open. We believe humanity is plural, not singular. The best way the world works is everybody in. Nobody out.
You can watch the new video at the top of this page, which also has a search bar at the top.
Earlier this year, we saw the range of Apple jobs available with six-figure salaries.
