Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta 2 for developers. The new update includes forthcoming Apple Intelligence features that are set for a December public release. It also, notably, is available for all Macs that can run macOS Sequoia—beta 1 was only for M-series devices.
Apple Intelligence features in macOS Sequoia 15.2
The first developer beta of macOS Sequoia 15.2 arrived two weeks ago, shortly before macOS 15.1 launched to the public.
15.2 is a big release with some of the most highly anticipated Apple Intelligence features to date.
For example:
- ChatGPT is now fully integrated with Siri
- Image Playground lets you create original AI images
- Writing tools let you describe specific changes you want made
- You can also use ChatGPT to create original text as part of writing tools
Beta 1 notably did not include Genmoji yet, even though the companion iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 releases did include the feature.
Hopefully today’s beta 2 remedies that and offers Genmoji support. We’ll be sure to let you know if Genmoji are included in the new beta.
Apple has not yet issued a public beta for macOS Sequoia 15.2. But with the expected wide public launch only about one month away, we should see public beta users onboarded to the new update soon.
