Hit sci-fi series Silo returns for season two today

One of the biggest hits on Apple TV+ returns for season two today: the sci-fi series Silo, based on the book series by Hugh Howey.

Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks to break out of the underground silo in which everyone is living. Following the explosive season one finale, season two picks up with an expansion of the world as Juliette explores the outside.

Alongside Ferguson, the majority of the original cast are here again in season two, alongside new additions like Steve Zahn. While Juliette expands the world, tensions bubble in the original silo as the inhabitants wonder what happened to her.

When it debuted last year, Silo became Apple’s number one streamed drama series. It’s also a critical success, with Rotten Tomatoes scores firmly in the nineties. Although officially unconfirmed, Silo is renewed for season three with filming seemingly already underway. Ferguson has previously suggested the show will tell its story across four seasons in all.

How to watch Silo

Silo is exclusively available on the Apple TV+ streaming service. You can watch Apple TV+ through the Apple TV app available on many devices and platforms, including in a web browser at tv.apple.com.

Silo season one is available to stream in full right now. Season two is rolling out weekly. You can watch the season two premiere right now, with a new episode rolling out each Friday. The season two finale will air on January 17, so if you want to binge in one go — wait until then.
