With a free-for-all streaming promotion running this weekend, now is a great time to catch up on Apple TV+ content you may have missed from the past year.
Spanning new TV show seasons, limited series, movies and kids content, Apple released a total of 69 originals in 2024. Here’s a list of everything new you can stream right now …
While Apple is often cited as not being as prolific as other streamers, its pace of content releases has increased dramatically in the last couple of years.
While many of its streaming rivals have pulled back on output, Apple has so far remained relatively consistent and released more premium originals for adults than any other streaming service last year, apart from Netflix. On average, Apple TV+ released a brand new title every week of the year with at least 4 new releases each month.
One change in trend is an increase in the amount of foreign language content hitting the service. While the majority of Apple’s content is English language, we did see a marked increase in the number of international series launches.
Although Apple does not release viewership numbers, popular titles this year seemed to include the brand new drama Presumed Innocent (which was renewed for season two after originally plotted as a one-off limited series), limited series Masters of the Air, Silo season two, Slow Horses season four, and the streaming only movie Wolfs starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

In terms of service strategy, 2024 saw Apple reverse course on its theatrical film strategy. It entered the year with a slate of worldwide box office cinema-first releases, that later came to TV+ streaming. But after a string of high-profile flops, it has noticeably backtracked and has returned to a mostly-streaming only approach for its movies for now. The only theatrical feature currently on its slate is F1, which will arrive in theaters in June 2025.
We also saw Apple bring TV+ to more distribution channels, as it tries to expand the reach of its content. Most notably, that included the recent launch of the Apple TV+ channel on Amazon Prime Video.
Looking ahead to 2025, Apple has already announced a slew of new series coming in the first few months of this year, including The Studio, Your Friends & Neighbors and Dope Thief. Also, the highly-anticipated second season of Severance starts in a couple of weeks, with new seasons of Mythic Quest, Surface and more coming soon.
