Kuxiu’s X40 Turbo now comes in Cosmic Orange with 25W Qi2.2 charging [Hands-on]

Apple quietly made a massive update to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 lineup with their new iOS 26 update. They now officially support the new Qi2.2 wireless charging standard, allowing you to wirelessly fast-charge your iPhone at up to 25W. So one of my favorite iPhone accessory brands released their new Qi2.2 X40 Turbo charger, which I reviewed early last month. It was the first charger to bring true Qi2.2 25W fast charging to your iPhone. Today, they have doubled down on it and released the perfect companion to the new Cosmic Orange iPhone, with a perfectly color-matched X40 Turbo.

The most impressive thing about the M5 chip isn't found inside the MacBook Pro | M5 chip layout shown in Apple graphic

Even five years on, I’m still blown away by the impressiveness of Apple Silicon Macs. I’m still rocking a pair of M1-powered MacBooks myself, albeit one of them the M1 Max, and I’ve never felt that either one was underpowered.

This weekend, photographer Ryan Russell put Apple’s latest flagship through those conditions at a Coheed and Cambria / Taking Back Sunday show, and the results show what the iPhone 17 Pro Max camera can deliver in the wild.

iPhone 17 demand strong, says Kuo, with the Pro Max the star performer | iPhone 17 line-up shown

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that demand for the new iPhone 17 lineup is strong, with initial orders beating out those for last year’s iPhone 16.

He points to a clear indication that the iPhone 17 Pro Max is the star performer, although does acknowledge that demand for the iPhone Air may become clearer over time …

This key iPhone 17 Pro rumor didn’t come to fruition, but there’s a good reason for it

With iPhone 17 Pro, there was one major rumor that a lot of Apple fans were looking forward to this year: reverse wireless charging. After all, with the new glass window with a centered Apple logo – it looked like a perfect opportunity for this new feature. Our batteries are also larger than ever. Yet, the Apple Event came and went – and there was no reverse wireless charging.

While this is certainly disappointing, there’s a good reason for it not arriving, and I’ll delve into that.
