Both of Apple’s next-generation iPhones will rollout in Japan on Friday, September 20th, according to a report from Nikkei. With the “iPhone 5S” and plastic iPhone scheduled to be introduced at a September 10th media event, a September 20th launch is not a bit surprising based on past history.
For previous iOS Device launches, Apple has released their new devices on the Friday of the week following the media event. Corroborating Nikkei‘s claim is Greece-based Techmaniacs.
The iPhone 5S will retain the same design as the iPhone 5, but come in a gold color option. Also likely in the cards is a biometric fingerprint scanner, improved camera software, and a dual-LED flash. As for the plastic iPhone, this device will likely come in a flurry of colors and be flavored for international markets such as China.

I hate when sites regurgitate just to pad stories?
Yep. The only surprise on September 10th at this point will be if there are ANY surprises whatsoever.
At least the Greek got last years date correct, and actually all the rumors they posted have been confirmed. Unless you have a story that says other way
I honestly think they do this to market. When consumers have to wait, they want it more.
Greece is always last in Europe that gets iPhone, i lived there 10 years and know it.
And Israel, UK, China and Japan are always the first
Claiming that Greece will be on the first tier of countries receiving the iPhone 5S/5C is just hilarious tbh…trust me I’m Greek :P Would a rather nice surprise though.
Will the new iPhone have any unexpected features? It’s Greek to me…
Hey everyone, what do people think about the new IPhone 5S camera quality? do you see an full upgrade coming? Do you think Apple will stick with a Rear camera 8 MP back-side illuminated sensor, HD video (1080p) and a Front camera 1.2 MP, HD video (720p), or will apple not only upgrade the camera’s flash/camera software, but also increase the camera megapixel quality on the front or rear cameras?
