Apple: App Store’s 1.3 million apps should ‘just work’ on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

During the iPhone 6 launch event, Apple announced that the 1.3 million apps available on the App Store should “just work” on the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that are expected to be released soon. This is possible thanks to the Auto Layout that was introduced at WWDC…

Everything should be seamless for the user and apps should automatically adjust to the screen sizes that will be available with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. For more information about Apple’s announcements, check out our Apple announcement hub.

There are some apps that didnt work well with iOS 8 GM, for instance trying use dropbox to restore backups for 1Passworld causes 1Password to crash. On Restaurant Story you sometimes have to hit buttons multiple times on iOS 8 GM to get it to work. So unless iOS 8 changes from these developer builds, there are gonna be apps not completely compatible with iOS 8.
