Latest Apple Watch ads featuring Nick Jonas & others showcase bands, features, more

Just a day after unveiling a new fourth-gen Apple TV ad starring NBA player Kobe Bryant, Apple today has released a handful of new 15-second ads for the Apple Watch highlighting a variety of different features. The new ads continue Apple’s trend of having Watch ads each highlight a specific feature of the device.

New ads “Row,” “Chase,” and “Golf” all highlight the fitness capabilities of the Apple Watch. Each ad shows someone using Apple Watch to track their fitness progress using the Activity app. The “Chase” ad stars musician/actor Nick Jonas and features third-party app Argus.

The next ad, called “Find,” simply shows how you can use your Apple Watch to ping your iPhone in case you’ve miss placed it and stars actress Chloë Sevigny. “Surprise” is an ad that showcases the ability to use Apple Watch to control the lights in your home using HomeKit and Siri. “Rain” shows off third-party weather app Dark Sky and how it can be used to know exactly when adverse weather is approaching.

Finally, the last ad is entitled “Swap” and focuses on the customization features of the Apple Watch. The ad shows how the band you’re using with your Apple Watch can be changed to go with any outfit or for any different occasion. The ad stars musician Jon Batiste, who leads the band on The Late Show.

All of Apple’s new Apple Watch ads come in at 15 seconds in length and can be seen below:

Sigh…if only my Apple Watch ver 2.2 can dismiss notifications on my iPhone again, that would be really, really great. Broken since the 2.2 update. No issue before the update. C’mon Apple! Unpaired and repaired with no luck. Maybe somebody knows how to fix this?

I’m pretty sure that last ad “Swap” actually features musician and Late Show bandleader Jon Batiste

Nick Who? And nobody mentions Alice Cooper in the Golf ad?!!!!

  8. Really loving these! Aside from them showcasing features of the watch, I think that they just look amazing! Really good choices of music too.

Sorry to say my wife and I are extremely disappointed in the AW HRM. It simply doesn’t work at all for intense workouts. For her, this is the main reason she wanted the apple watch in the first place. Apple will be taking her watch back and refunding all of our money.

None of these ads will help sell an Apple Watch. Fitbits still outnumber in sales and do fitness tracking better than the Apple Watch. The biggest complaint about an Apple Watch is how slow it is, and the few people that I have seen with an Apple Watch are using their iPhone to do something rather than the watch. People are not interested in smartwatches.

For some reason I want to punch the “swap” guy in the face
