Today we’re liking the BlueSLR gadget, a Bluetooth dongle that lets you control your Nikon SLR from your iPhone, and adds a few other features which justify its $150 price tag.
All you need to do is connect blueSLR to your compatible digital SLR camera and use your phone to adjust your camera’s focus, shutter speed or timer.
The small device also gives you GPS, so you can position your images on a map. I encodes the location, time, speed, and direction right in the file.
You also get geo-tagged image sharing via services such as Flickr or iPhoto: Places.
Nikon and iOS-only at present, support for Canon, Android and Blackberry devices is in development, the company said.
