Google Play Movies & TV app for iOS gets offline playback support

Google just announced a nice update for users of its Google Play Movies & TV app for iOS: the ability to download both movies and television shows for offline playback without an internet connection. Google first released the app in January giving iPhone and iPad users access to its movies and TV shows streamed over WiFi. 

Google just announced the feature on Google+ and the updated app should be rolling out to the App Store any minute. Version 1.2.0 also brings bug fixes and improvements to accessibility and stability.

The Google Play Movies & TV app is available for free for iPhone and iPad.
