While the Apple Online Store remains down (back in business!) ahead of expected iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 pre-orders today, AT&T has jumpstarted the process by starting to accept pre-orders for AT&T-connected LTE models of the iPad Air 2. Shipping times currently show estimated delivery dates as 6-10 business days out. AT&T is offering customers $100 off the $629 starting price for AT&T cellular models of the iPad Air 2 with installment plans also available. Pre-orders for WiFi-only iPad Air 2 models as well as models connected to other wireless carriers should start shortly.
The iPad mini 3 also seems to be available from AT&T for pre-order with estimated ship times of 6-10 business days.

After the fiasco of AT&T turning my pre-order of 2 iPhone 6Pluses into 6 phones – I think I’ll wait until the Apple store opens.
AT&T could screw up a wet dream!
Everyone botched the iPhone 6 launch. AT&T servers being authorize activations was a ig reason Apple started selling them 3 hours late. Author providers had similar issues.
Ordering my iPad Air 2 went very smoothly on AT&T.
Sort of torn between saving $100 on a iPad Air 2 on contract with AT&T but having to wait 11-15 “business days” or getting it same day and paying $100 more. Given Apple dropped the new iPad Air price $100 I am already saving money but the chance to save more has me torn. Very likely I will get it next week when Apple has them and forgo AT&T on this one. No sense being on contract.
