Spotify brings iPad app in line with iPhone & Mac apps, with dark theme and Your Music feature

Spotify has belatedly brought its iPad app in line with the dark-themed iPhone and Mac apps, also adding in the Your Music feature which made it easier to organise your favourite content.

The iPhone and Mac apps got the same update way back in April, and it’s unclear why it’s taken the iPad app so long to catch up.

Spotify is a free download from iTunes.

Spotify is gobbling up users thanks to its free tier. Beats will die a slow death if Apple doesnt make a move soon. Once people have created 100 playlists with 1000’s of song in their Spotify library fat chance in hell they are going to switch to Beats and take the time to rebuild that catalog. Clocks ticking Apple.

Beats isn’t helping its cause with its website. It is beyond buggy (I use it to stream music while on Windows laptop at work).

I tried it for a week but went back to Rdio – the website was just so horribly buggy, slow and had a weird organization.

I agree, I do imagine Apples team will fix the bugginess as well as the no- so-user-friendly modern interface but they are running out of time to be a major player before other services lock the market up.
