Here’s how to watch The Interview on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV

Update: The film is now available on iTunes for $6 to rent and $15 to own.

After much controversy, Sony Pictures released the Seth Rogen comedy The Interview on Google Play and YouTube earlier today. If you’re looking to brave the wrath of North Korea and watch the movie for yourself, there are a number of ways you can do so on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV. Of course, you can also watch on your Mac by heading over to YouTube, Google Play, or Sony’s own dedicated site.

For an iOS device, you’ll want to take a look at the YouTube or Google Play Movies apps. Neither of those apps have the ability to actually rent the movie, so you’ll need to do that from a computer, but once you have you’ll be able to stream it to your mobile devices with no problem.

You can also rent and stream the film to the new YouTube app on the Apple TV, although, as Google notes in a help document on its support site, this will require a third-generation Apple TV.

    nice

  3. Or don’t watch it and stop falling for the BS the media is being fed and then feeding to us. THe hack had nothing to do with The Interview and wasn’t done by N. Korea.

This is exactly what I think. Nobody but the US has said that NK did this. Stop believing this BS people, this is just an excuse to impose more economic sanctions. You can’t believe everything the news says.

Because they needed to fake a cyber attack to increase support for more economic sanctions against N. Korea. Are you serious? What planet do you live on? I suppose you believe Putin is misunderstood as well?

Reminds me of the old Dustin Hoffman movie, “Wag The Dog.”

It’s like Sony took that script and updated it (though it didn’t need much updating) and gave us SonyGate!

Not spending my $$$ to see this one – will wait for the Netflix release.

Here’s how you can watch it legally if you don’t live in America – you can’t.

Smart thinking there Sony. I’m sure in no way will this drive people to torrent sites.
