Microsoft today released a minor update for its Xbox One SmartGlass app with long overdue support for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The latest version of the companion app for Xbox One now supports the native resolution of both smartphones alongside bug fixes.
The Xbox One SmartGlass app provides iPhone and iPad users with a solution to connect and control their gaming console both in the living room and on the go. The app enables you to navigate your Xbox One, control media playback, browse the web on your TV and more.
You can also view and access your activity feed, friends list, achievements, pins, messages, game clips, store, OneGuide and settings.
The Xbox One SmartGlass app joins a long list of apps updated with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support in recent months, including Facebook, Instagram, Hulu Plus, Tweetbot, Google Chrome, 1Password, Fantastical 2, Gmail, Mailbox, Skype, YouTube, Rdio and Hipchat.
