Apple didn’t discount anything, independent developers did.
I know that you know that, but as an independent developer it’s crazy hard to get people to understand that most apps don’t actually come from Apple. This headline reinforces that misunderstanding.
I see what you’re saying, but Apple did play a role in organizing (and possibly soliciting) these discounts from independent developers. Again, I see where you’re coming from. Thanks for reading!
