What exactly is it like to live (and work) with Apple’s new 12-inch MacBook? We’ve been using it for the last week or so and have some initial impressions to share. Along with that, it looks like Scott Forstall has surfaced, but you’ll never guess what he’s doing now. We also get into new Apple Watch availability details. The Happy Hour podcast is available for download on iTunes and through our dedicated RSS feed…

These guys need to, like, um, ya know, like refrain from firing up a doobie, like, um, ya know right before, like, um, they like, do a broadcast.
Hey guys, love the podcast! I’m one of those unfortunate people that didn’t pre-order the Apple Watch, because I wanted to try it on first and figured I’d just check it out when I’m near my closest Apple Store (about 5 hours away) just after launch. The news that the Watch won’t be sold in stores is slightly disappointing, but the wait times for preorders are certainly even more off-putting. With my Pebble being quite glitchy lately, I had finally decided to take the plunge, but with wait times that long, I’m left wondering if I should bother preordering at all, or just wait and see if things improve before June/July, or even holding off longer than that and seeing what other rumours start to float around about a revision or new models.
Keep up the great work on the show, and I can’t help but plug my own podcast a bit. We started right around the same time as you guys, actually. We’re called The Warp Whistle Podcast, and we’re a weekly half-hour show about all things Nintendo, but I usually find some way to mention Apple in almost every episode. https://soundcloud.com/thewarpwhistle and on iTunes
You mention photos of the uneven key backlighting, yet you offer us no links to those photos. You should add that info in a text description.
