Following Logitech’s announcement of its CREATE keyboard case for iPad Pro, Zagg today has taken the wraps off of its full line of keyboard accessories for the iPad Pro and iPad mini 4. The company announced in a press release today that it will be offering three keyboard models for the iPad mini 4 and two for the iPad Pro.
Starting with the iPad mini 4, the company will offer its Slim Book keyboard case with backlit keys for $119.99. It’s folio keyboard case with backlit keys will run $99.99, while the non-folio model will run $79.99. The full breakdown is below. The cases feature two-year battery life and 135 degree viewing angles.
- Slim Book with backlit keys is $119.99; available for order on Sept. 15
- Folio with backlit keys is $99.99; available for order on Sept. 25
- Folio non-backlit keys is $79.99; available for order on Sept. 25
As far as the iPad Pro goes, Zagg has announced that its Messenger Universal case will be available fro $69.99, while its Slim Book Pro will be available for $139.99. It does not appear as if Zagg’s offerings take advantage of the iPad Pro’s Smart Connector feature like Logitech’s CREATE does. This means that Zagg’s offerings must be paired via a traditional Bluetooth connection. The cases feature two-year battery life.
- Messenger Universal is $69.99; available in November
- Slim Book Pro is $139.99; available in November
Zagg also teased that it will make its InvisibleShield line of accessories available for the iPad Pro and iPad mini 4, as well as a lineup of power and audio products. Specific details are unclear at this point, though. The full press release is below:
