CNBC interviews Benjamin Mayo about Apple’s earnings, future growth potential [Video]

Following Apple’s earnings report yesterday, where it recorded its first quarterly revenue decline since 2003, CNBC spoke with 9to5Mac’s Benjamin Mayo about Apple’s potential future products and revenue streams. Benjamin discusses Apple’s expanding Services sector including Apple Music, the realities of Apple Watch growth possibilities, and more.

Despite falling earnings, Apple executives remained optimistic about iPhone and iPad sales in future quarters on its investor earnings call. The company appears to be focusing heavily on Services for additional revenue streams, announcing Apple Music subscribers rose to 13 million.

      On the iPad’s evolution: “The battery life is still terrible”.

      Really? One of the main selling point of the iPad in its first few years is that it had a much longer battery life than most laptops.

      Nowadays it’s not seen as a selling point anymore since many laptops and tablets have an equivalent (or even longer) battery life, but I think it’s the first time I ever hear someone claim the iPad has terrible battery life.
