Following the release of the first developer beta of iOS 10 earlier this week, Apple today has update TestFlight with support for the latest iOS version. As announced on the company’s developer website, developers are now able to build apps for iOS 10, watchOS 3, and the latest version of tvOS.
Being able to push betas of apps with iOS 10 features means that developers will be able to perfect the implementation of things like SiriKit and the new notification and widget features on iOS.
TestFlight now supports apps built for the new beta of iOS, watchOS, and tvOS, which means that you can get feedback from testers on features like SiriKit, Push Notifications for tvOS, new iOS Extension APIs, and more
Additionally, all beta apps on iOS 10 will include a 3D Touch Quick Action that makes it seamless for testers to share feedback and issues with the app, while there are also a variety of stability and performance improvements.
iTunes Connect has also received a handful of enhancements, including support for apps built with iOS 10 and tvOS 10 features.
Developers can read more about today’s TestFlight and iTunes Connect changes on Apple’s official developer website. In the meantime, check out our full coverage of everything Apple unveiled this week at the links below:
