Apple Music Classical adds dedicated CarPlay app and Siri support

After a false start back in January, the Apple Music Classical app has officially launched on CarPlay. The app also now integrates with Siri, allowing you to ask Siri to play your favorite content using Apple Music Classical.

The Apple Music Classical app on CarPlay works exactly as you’d expect it to. It’s very similar to the standard Apple Music app in terms of design. You can easily browse your library, suggested content, editorial curation, playlists, and more. Check out the screenshots below for a closer look.

Apple confirmed the addition of CarPlay and Siri support in the release notes for today’s Apple Music Classical update:

This update adds support for CarPlay and Siri, plus stability and performance enhancements.

The Apple Music Classical app can be downloaded from the App Store. The service is included with a standard Apple Music subscription or the Apple One bundle.
