Apple has released the second iPadOS and iOS 18.5 developer beta. The first beta was a big nothing burger for iPhone and iPad users. Hopefully iOS 18.5 beta 2 brings more interesting changes.
What’s new in iOS 18.5?
iOS 18.5 isn’t expected to include any major new features. That’s because iOS 19 development is well underway internally, and Apple has shipped nearly all of its promised features for the iOS 18 cycle.
However, last year’s iOS 17.5 software update did include a few surprises with News+ game additions and cross-platform tracking detection for AirTag-like products.
So far, there’s an easy way to disable contact photos in the Mail app.
