Apple TV has new star-packed series coming soon based on hit novel

Apple TV’s adaptation of the very popular novel, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, just got a release date. Here are the details and first images.

‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ gets Apple TV release date

Apple TV has a strong lineup of returning shows coming in early 2026.

But today, the streamer announced the release date for a highly anticipated brand new show: ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles.’ It hails from A24 and David E. Kelley.

The series is based on the bestselling novel of the same name, and stars Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Nick Offerman, and more. Rufi Thorpe’s book was published fairly recently, in June 2024.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles premieres Wednesday, April 15 on Apple TV with its first three episodes, followed by weekly releases through May 20.

Here’s Apple’s official series summary:

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is a bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them. The series also stars Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington.
