It’s happening again. Pluribus viewers won’t have to wait a full week to see the conclusion to season one.
Apple TV drops new episodes on Wednesdays and Fridays depending on the series. Pluribus just happens to be a Friday release show. However, Apple TV is releasing an episode ahead of schedule for the second time this season.
Last month, episode five arrived two days early during Thanksgiving/Black Friday week. This time we have Christmas Day and Kwanza on the calendar to thank. The official release date shifts from December 26 to December 24.
Once again, the early release date means you can actually watch the next episode on Tuesday night. Apple releases new episodes at 9 p.m. ET the night before the stated episode release day. Palm Royale is the only other series with a new episode set for next week, but it’s already a Wednesday release show.
Apple confirms the earlier-than-expected release date in the TV app. At 57 minutes long, episode nine ranks third for longest episode; the series premiere ranked second longest at 59 minutes and episode two as longest at 1 hour 5 minutes.
Episode nine is the finale to the first season of Pluribus. Apple ordered two seasons to start back in 2022, so we already know a second season will follow. It doesn’t hurt that Pluribus has proved to be the most watched show on Apple TV yet.
Apple TV is available for $12.99/month as a standalone subscription. You can bundle Apple TV iCloud, Apple Music, and Apple Arcade for $19.95/month with Apple One.
