Apple invites creators to multi-day ‘Apple Experience’ next week

Apple is inviting select creators to a so-called “Apple Experience” next week in Los Angeles. The event is likely to focus on the launch of Apple Creator Studio, the company’s new all-in-one subscription bundle for its creative apps.

It’s also possible that Apple announces new MacBook Pros next week, and this event serves as a chance for creators to try them out.

Creator Petr Mára posted an image of his invite on Instagram earlier this month. The invite says: “Save the date for an Apple Experience — January 27-29 in Los Angeles, CA.”

The invite was sent prior to Apple announcing the Apple Creator Studio subscription bundle, but is only now gaining steam on social media. The so-called Apple Experience will likely give creators the ability to try out the new Creator Studio bundle, including briefings with Apple product managers and in-depth demos.

Apple Creator Studio is set to launch on January 28. It offers access to Apple’s full suite of creative apps for $12.99 per month or $129 per year.

The question, of course, is whether Apple will also announce new MacBook Pros in conjunction with this event. We’re waiting on the launch of the M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pros, following the launch of the base M5 model last fall.

As noted earlier this week, shipping times for select M4 Pro and M4 Max MacBook Pro variants are facing extended delays. This is usually a good indicator of an imminent refresh. Apple will also report its fiscal Q1 earnings next week on January 29, which occasionally coincides with new hardware.

Are you planning to buy a new M5 MacBook Pro? Let us know down in the comments.
