Here’s what iPhone Duo’s new two-page PDF experience looks like

iPhone Duo was officially unveiled in early September, but we continue to learn more about the device in the lead-up to its October launch. The latest reveal is a preview of the two-page PDF viewing experience on iPhone Duo.

Leak reveals expanded PDF feature set for iPhone Duo

If you’re interested in the iPhone Duo, there’s a good chance you want it to do things that your current iPhone can’t.

For example, lots of people interact with PDFs regularly as part of their job or for school. And viewing PDFs on a traditional iPhone isn’t a great experience.

iPads, by contrast, excel as PDF viewers. So how will the iPhone Duo fare?

Leaker pdfu has posted a video showing what iPhone Duo’s Quick Look feature for PDFs looks like in a new two-page mode.

The two-page layout could prove valuable in many cases. But I expect iPhone Duo will be especially nice for viewing PDFs in a single-page mode too.

Especially once Apple Pencil support launches later this year, iPhone Duo could be the first iPhone to offer a truly compelling PDF experience.

Do you plan to use iPhone Duo as a PDF viewer very often? What other tasks do you hope it can be great at that your current iPhone isn’t? Let us know in the comments.
