In My Cart: Here are the Prime Day deals we’re buying today

The Amazon fall Prime Day sale is well within its final 24 hours now, and it’s time to take a look at what we have in our carts before the deals disappear. Just because there are literally millions of discounts live today it does not mean all of them are good, but here is the gear we are grabbing for ourselves, from Apple’s latest and add-ons to elevate the experience, upgrades for the home workstation, and additions to your brick-built collections, scope it all out below and let us know what you’re picking up too.

Justin

I love me some Mac mini action and my M4 is just about ready for an upgrade, my new Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro might need the first-party treatment this year (I still can’t choose between the Burgundy TechWoven or the Silicone model though), and my Magic Mouse is certainly ready for a refresh. However I’ve also got my eye on the LEGO Icons Project Hail Mary all-time low for the office too.

I’m keeping things a little more practical this Prime Day, with most of my picks being upgrades to gear I already use. The Bambu Lab A2L Combo looks like a nice step up for bigger prints compared to my smaller A1 Combo, Samsung’s ViewFinity S8 would give my aging QHD Mac setup a much-needed resolution bump, and the MX Master 3S feels like a sensible replacement at this price for my old workstation mouse. Then there’s the GameSir Pocket Taco and a Spigen pick, which are both firmly in impulse-buy territory.

Chance

I use my AirPods Pro 3 more than any other piece of technology in my life, and they are a no-brainer at their Prime Day price of $179. I’ve got another pair in my car to order as a holiday gift for a family member. I’ve also been putting off updating my Lightning Magic Keyboard, so I’m eyeing the deals on the newest USB-C version.

My picks comprise a mix of some of my own favorite tech alongside a couple of devices our analytics show are popular with 9to5Mac readers.

There are a few products that I stand by as my go-tos for anything from health tracking to charging to multifunctional accessories. Here are some of my most used products that also give some awesome value.

I’ve written before about how a small programmable macro keyboard changed my workflow for the better. What I didn’t explore was the other accessory I keep around, which is a frustratingly flimsy clone of the Elgato Stream Deck MK.2. At $40 off, I’m finally making the jump for the real thing. And here’s a great tip: with Christmas just around the corner, David Pogue’s Apple: The 50 First Years is available for nearly 60% off, which feels like a no-brainer as a fantastic gift. As for something I already own, and you should definitely add to your cart, is Logitech’s MX Master 4.

Michael

My picks are things I personally own and recommend as someone deeply invested in the Apple ecosystem. I like to travel and the new AirPods Max are at the top of my list. I can seamlessly move between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac without having to re-pair my headphones every time I want to switch devices and the noise cancellation is really good. And just for fun, a Lego set of the best movie car of all time.

Rein

My picks are primarily focused on making my home life easier and more tranquil, as living in a smaller apartment with a very wild cat can push my patience at times. At the top of my list is my favorite roborock robot vacuum and mop to date, which handles floors (and my cat’s hair/messes) quite well. From there, it’s about creating a peaceful ambiance and handling outdoor leaf collection needs this fall around the property, as all my neighbors are elderly.

Simon

I dig products that make everyday life less cluttered and more efficient, and that’s why all of the items in my cart share that theme. You’ll find everything from USB-C cables that magically wind themselves up to a flat USB-C wall charger, a versatile handheld vacuum that actually charges when docked, a powerful retractable 100W travel adapter, as well as a sleek and modern MagSafe mount that can work just about anywhere.
