Beats and Pokémon team up for new special-edition Beats Pill

Beats is teaming up with The Pokémon Company for a special-edition version of the Beats Pill. Beats says this collab is “here to unleash the energy of your music, inspired by the power of Pikachu’s brightest spark and the depths of Mimikyu’s mystery.”

Here’s how Beats describes the Pokémon-infused design of this special-edition Beats Pill:

Featuring both beloved Pokémon on its grill, the front and back of the speaker incorporate the unmistakable electric yellow of Pikachu and a grayscale interpretation of the mysterious Mimikyu. This is the first time Beats has released a Pill with charms. The speaker comes with bespoke Pokémon charms including the iconic Poké Ball and the Beats “b” logo, as well as lightning bolts — a signature symbol for Pikachu. The special-edition Pill also features its own playfully interactive packaging design.

Here’s Chris Thorne, Beats CMO:

“Pokémon Trainers are some of the most passionate in the world, and we saw an opportunity to channel that energy into something fun, unexpected, and created especially for fans. This collaboration unites two brands rooted in culture, giving fans a new way to express their love of Pokémon through sound.”

Other than that one-of-a-kind design, this is the same Beats Pill we’ve come to know and love. Beats revitalized the Beats Pill back in 2024 with better Apple integration, USB-C, 24 hours of battery life, and more. You can read my full review for all the details.

The new Pokémon x Beats Pill collab will be available to order starting October 15 for $149.99. In the United States, you can order it from Apple and Target. Shoppers in the UK can order from Apple and Argos. In China, it will be available from Douyin.
