watchOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, and more get developer beta 1 rollouts

Apple has launched the first betas for its forthcoming software updates, including the following:

  • iOS 26.4
  • iPadOS 26.4
  • macOS Tahoe 26.4
  • watchOS 26.4
  • tvOS 26.4
  • visionOS 26.4
  • HomePod 26.4

Each of these software updates is available in beta 1 releases for developers. Public beta testers will likely gain access in the coming week.

This latest lineup of software comes shortly after the public launch of Apple’s 26.3 updates last week.

While most 26.3 updates focused largely on bug fixes and security improvements, we’re expecting more new features from the 26.4 software cycle.

Siri’s big AI revamp is now expected to roll out in pieces—potentially starting in 26.4—but otherwise these updates may include optimizations in preparation for new Apple products being announced soon.

We’ll keep you posted on new features we discover in the first round of 26.4 betas.
