Perplexity AI app introduces ‘all-new native Mac experience’ for Personal Computer

Perplexity has released a brand new version of its macOS app that is replacing the company’s previous Mac software.

Perplexity says Personal Computer is now available for all Pro and Max subscribers

The new app touts an “all-new native Mac experience” that powers Perplexity’s Personal Computer agentic feature.

It launches with a slick intro video that explains how Personal Computer works on the Mac.

The app includes a universal keyboard shortcut, pressing both Command keys, to invoke the new Command Bar.

Perplexity started rolling out Personal Computer in April. As of today, the company says all Pro and Max subscribers can access the feature through the new Mac app.

The original app is still around for now, but Perplexity says it will go away soon. You can download the new Perplexity Mac app here.
