With the embargo lifted, Apple Watch reviews are spreading around the web, ahead of preorders on Friday. We saw a glimpse of the Apple Watch packaging yesterday, but Chinese website ‘Gadget Guy’ has stepped up to offer the world’s first unboxing video for the device.
The ‘exuberant’ demo shows how the Watch packaging resembles a jewellery case. Inside the square outer box is a rounded rectangle which contains the Watch itself, presented on its side with band already connected. An insert helps keep the Watch band in a curved shape when you unbox the lid for the first time. Other items, like the inductive charger and instruction sheets sit in the square box.

It’s too bad the videos are of such low quality, but it still looks good enough to buy IMO. It’s definitely a big FAT thing, and I’m glad some of the reviewers are finding the courage to actually say so, but otherwise it seems great. Can’t wait!
I find the videos and pictures that have been reversed, where it appears they are wearing it on the right wrist instead of the left, a bit sick-making.
It’s not from Chinese website ‘Gadget Guy’ . It is actually from Hong Kong ‘Apple Daily’ s supplement and from a section called ‘Gadget Guy’.
LOL in the 2nd French video, he had to turn the box upside down to get the rounded box out, who’s lid fell off and doubtlessly the watch fell out too, but he cut the video. Did you see that round imprint on his wrist when he was strapping it on for the “first time”? LOL
