Our most shared story this week was news that Apple is preparing a thinner MacBook Pro model that includes an OLED screen above the keyboard for contextual function keys and possibly other uses. The new MacBook will come in 13 and 15-inch variations and is expected to arrive by the end of the year, according to the report.

This week a couple reports claimed that Apple is developing a competitor to Amazon Echo and Google Home hardware with a dedicated Wi-Fi speaker of sorts for Siri. One report said a Siri SDK is on the way and likely coming at Apple’s WWDC 2016 developer conference scheduled for next month, although the hardware itself might be delayed until next year according to the reports.
