One week before Apple unveils the iPhone Xs, the company has updated its AirPort Utility iOS app for the iPhone X screen size that was introduced a year ago. The new update also looks sharper on 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros.
The update comes on the heels of Apple releasing a surprise firmware update for the AirPort Express (2nd gen) that adds AirPlay 2 to the 2012 hardware.
Apple’s AirPort lineup has been discontinued and is no longer being sold, but customers can expect support for several years including security updates.
Updating the AirPort Utility app for iPhone X is a bit late but positive nonetheless. AirPort Utility for iOS is available on the App Store.
