I’d love to comment and I know full well that there’s rabid fans for Flash, but I’m going to keep this short and sweet. You’ve seen the headlines saying that the recent OS X update patched over 130 bugs? Well, don’t suppose you noticed that 42 percent of these bugs were bugs in Flash.

Flash. Could this perhaps be why Apple (AAPL) CEO Steve Jobs is right that Flash isn’t ready for those nice slimmed-down mobile devices? Could this be why the Samsung Tab suffers so much when attempting to run Flash content?

There’s an anti-Flash backlash beginning, and it isn’t about Apple, it isn’t about Adobe (ADBE), it isn’t about HTML5, it isn’t about anything but buggy software, lousy performance and broken promises.

From TechCrunch:

So you’ll forgive me if when Kevin Lynch announces all these great-sounding things about Flash that are just around the corner, I’m highly skeptical. How long have we been promised Flash on mobile devices? 5 years? It’s still not where it needs to be. Hell, it’s not where it needs to be on the desktop.
