Apple Online Store returns with new Macs & iPads

Following Apple’s iPad event today, Apple’s online store is now back up with details on the new Macs and iPads announced during today’s event. The site also has a link to upgrade to OS X Mavericks through the Mac App Store, which Apple announced would become available today for free.

While Apple’s new iPad Air will be available (starting at $499) on Nov. 1 both online and in Apple retail stores, you can already purchase the refreshed MacBook Pro with Retina display starting at $1299. The new iPad mini with Retina display will become available in November starting at $399. Apple is also continuing to sell the first generation iPad mini starting at $299 and an iPad 2 starting at $399.

Apple is also already listing the new polyurethane and leather iPad Smart cases and covers but most seem to be unavailable through the site as of yet.

The next-generation Mac Pro will become available sometime in December starting at $2999, but Apple is also listing a $3999 configuration that coems with a 6-core 3.5GHz Intel Xeon E5 processor and Dual AMD FirePro D500 with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM each.
