This is the same price as the iPad 2? That’s pretty wild.

As much as I love my iPad Mini, I just can’t justify the extra $70. Yes, the specs are much more improved, but, the drag they have kept on the internal memory it’s becoming an issue for me. The need to move away from that 16GB option on retina iPads soon, because it’s as useless as an 8GB iPhone.

What I couldn’t justify is the cost of the iPad mini at $329, or even $299..considering what you now get for $399.

Internal memory is irrelevant. Properly managed 16 GB is completely usable. If you’re criteria is storing lots of data, then what you need is a more expensive device…not for Apple to magically make it cheaper.

Your perception that 32 GB should cost what 16 GB does today is wrong. Its what you wish, not what it should be.

I wish they were all 64 GB or more at the current prices. Doesn’t make it right, or reasonable, or necessary.

This is a terrible price point for the mini. I was hoping to move form the nuexus 7 to the new mini with retina display but now for $170 more. Feeling disappointed!

Now just think about it. U would be getting a 7.9 inch iPad Air named iPad mini. Identical except for size. I wish you could and felt like you could afford it if you want and need one. That is not the way it works. For another $100 you can get a 9.7 inch iPad mini named iPad Air.
