Apple announces live stream coverage for March 9th Apple Watch event

In addition to sending out invitations to its upcoming March 9th event, Apple has announced on its website that it will provide a live stream for what is anticipated to be an event focused largely on the Apple Watch. On the event page, Apple also invites you to “follow every moment” on its live event webpage. This presumably means that Apple will return to providing quotes, photos, and videos from the event in real time as it first did at the Apple Watch’s first unveiling last September. The Apple event site also includes an action to add the event to your calendar in case you haven’t already.

Typically the live stream is available through Safari on iPhones, iPads, and Macs as well as through a dedicated channel on Apple TV. Once again, the disclaimer below the announcement makes no mention of Windows support through QuickTime, so check back here before the event for workarounds as before.

We’ll have full coverage of the news from the event on March 9th where Apple will likely go in-depth on the Apple Watch before its release so stay tuned. You can re-watch or catch up on Apple’s first Apple Watch announcement below.

If it’s anything like the original Apple Watch stream, we’re in for a grand time.

I’ve yet to have an Apple Live Stream work properly. :(

I did once. It stands out in my memory because it was the only time that this happened. :-)

What if I speak Mandarin, Japanese and English but just have a hard time juggling all three at once?

When I download calendar event and add it to Calendar, time is wrong… It says me 18:00pm, but it’s 19:00pm. Be careful about that!

    • I don’t know where you live but we will be forwarding the time on March 8th in North America. That might cause your time difference ;)

That’s exactly it. Here in Europe, for instance, we will be forewarning it on March 29th, so it will be 6pm when the event starts
