Apple releases iOS 9.2 beta 3 to developers and public testers

IMG_0332

Apple has released a third beta version of iOS 9.2 for developers and public beta testu users to try. The two previous builds of this operating system introduced support for AT&T’s new NumberSync system and changes to embedded Safari browsers that allow them to load all extensions. It also adds Arabic language support to Siri.

The new build is available from the Software Update section of the Settings app on devices running a previous developer build, or from the Developer Center for those on a public release.

For users on the iOS public beta who aren’t on the current preview build, it can be obtained through the Apple Beta website.

We’ll keep this post updated with any new features discovered in the third beta seed.

What device are you updating that the beta 3 is only 176 MB?
The public beta have constantly been 1.6 GB on my iPhone 6 plus and 1.4 GB on my iPad Air 2.

My iPhone doesn’t recognize the mic/remote of my EarPods, Does its a software bug or an iPhone hardware bug?

Have they fixed the significant battery drain ? I went down to 9.1 after getting tired of the battery and heat on 9.2 B1 & 2

Battery drain is worse in my experience. 9.2 B1/B2 felt relatively normal, B3 is wrecking my battery life.
