OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 is now available in the Mac App Store for all users capable of running the latest Mac operating system. The software update has been in testing through the developer and public beta program since late October, going through five pre-release versions.

OS X 10.11.2 betas have focused on improvements across a handful of apps and parts of the operating system, including graphics, Mail, Wi-Fi, Calendar, USB, Notes, Photos, Spotlight, and networking. The update to the Mac will also likely be required to take advantage of AT&T’s new NumberSync feature for iPhones, which has been tested in previous iOS 9.2 betas ahead of an early 2016 release. Apple first started testing OS X 10.11.2 with developers and public beta testers in late October.

Apple also released iOS 9.2, tvOS 9.1, and watchOS 2.1 today.

I’m not seeing it and I’ve been checking since the moment the alert for this article appeared in my Mac’s notification center.

Still don’t see it. Dying to get this update since I heard it corrects the finder view from defaulting to returning to the top after clicking into, then back, files and folders. I can’t work like this and I can’t downgrade.

looks like pre-prepaired article and someone messed up release time, since no other website has any kind of news related to 11.11.2. Its not even here https://www.apple.com/support/osx/
I just had an Xcode update.

No showing up in updates & XCode update is stalled out. Thinking maybe app store issue. iOS 9.2 has yet to show up also.

  5. Not showing up in updates for me. downloading the complete file weighing in at 6.2gbs

  6. Not in the app store for me.

Good News! It fixes that default finder view where clicking on a file or folder then back did not return you back to your original position.

my magic mouse still disconnects from time to time for no reason at all… :(

Well for me Bluetooth is still wiping out my WIFI and has been doing since Yosemite. Turning on BT and connecting an Apple keyboard and track pad consistently halves my WIFI speed, sometimes taking it out altogether. It’s been over 12 months now, 3 Apple support issues lodged, 6 months testing in the beta program and now nothing not a sausage not even a call back. (Late 2013 Macbook Pro)

Updated. But now my MS Lync Plugin for Safari doesn’t work anymore. As usual, Apple and MS updates step all over each other.

After the update, wifi connects but i have no speed. Web pages do not load, i just get white screens, mail cannot connect, nothing.

I expect there is a fix on the way in the next couple days, but need to use my machine tonight, so performing a restore from Time Machine, from before the 10.11.2 update was applied.

UPDATE: As it turns out some Mac OS updates for my 2010 Mac mini impact the wifi and a fix is to reset the ATT routeri via it’s software. Unplugging and replugging does not fix this issue But after restarting the ATT router, Mac connects to wifi with proper speed.

Reloaded 10.11.2, reset router vis software from my iPad, and it works.

Only issue is that it takes forever for the Mac to be restarted now. More than 10 minutes from shut down to power up and access to mail.
