Google has once more posted its annual Year in Search video, covering topics as diverse as the refugee crisis, the blue/gold dress, Cecil the lion, female engineers, the discovery of water on Mars, gay marriage, Star Wars and more. Btw Pantone’s color of the year for 2016 is Rose Quartz which is basically the same color as the rose gold iPhone/Apple Watch. Apple knows trends.
Weird that people have been Googling “Paris”. I would assume one would search for “Paris restaurants” or “Paris attacks”
As Google is so good at picking up trends and news, a lot of times I’ll just keep my keywords to the minimum to start and get more specific as I need to.
As an American, I feel the need to note to Ben that there exist some of us who have never feverishly searched most of the all-category top 10, and do have thought processes that revolve around topics beside celebrity. :p
I had to google 3 of the Top 10 across all categories because I never heard their names. :D
People still use Google for basic searches? Why?
2015 was a prolific year for Apple, though I wish they would tilt the balance in favor of more polish, fewer products. In addition to the 6s, iPad Pro, and Apple Watch, there was also the launch of the MacBook, Apple Music, new Apple TV, and open sourcing of Swift. Sheesh!
