Head of Windows Phone Joe Belfiore tweets from an iPhone… then realizes

The chief of Microsoft’s Windows Phone development and design Joe Belfiore also uses an iPhone… at least for testing purposes. He posted this shot of Bill and Melinda Gates speaking via Twitter for iPhone:

Belfiore quickly realized that the Head of Windows Phone postings photos from an iPhone isn’t a great public image, and he noted that he’s just testing out the new iOS 7.1 release:

Any chief of software for other mobile software companies should be well aware of the competition, so Belfiore is basically just doing his job. He doesn’t want the media alerted, so here it is in our new Community, not the front page :)

I don’t think we’ll be seeing Tim Cook posting a tweet and then saying in Tweetbot “via Twitter for Android”

Once we see Tim tweenting from a Windows Phone, we should start thinking about changing our opininons on those devices. Until then we are safe with our iPhones … ;o))
