Kingdom Rush for iOS | 99 cents
This self-dubbed “No. 1 Strategy Game on the iPad” is a fantasy defense game featuring orcs, trolls, evil wizards, and even forests, mountains, wastelands, where soldiers essentially engage in “hand-to-hand cartoon battles.” Version 1.4 brings many new features such as: more missions, a new hero, a “Gnome shop” with several special weapons, and the ability to collect crystals for trading at the shop. The update also included various fixes ranging from overall game balance repairs and tweaks for a basic artillery explosion range to reduced BFG Missile damage and improved Telsa Overcharge damage.
UPAD for iPad | $4.99
This award-winning handwriting and PDF annotation app just went to Version 2.02. A few of the new elements include soft gel ink, cut/copy/move/paste options, a tag and search feature, landscape document support, advanced backup and restore, a new floating tool bar, Evernote support, and a Note cover setting.
Any.DO for iOS | Free
This agenda and organization app is now at Version 1.4. The update supports a variety of languages, including speech recognition, such as: Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. The latest version also features calendar integration, easier ways to contact friends, a better “on-boarding” experience, and unspecified bug fixes.
CoPilot Live Premium GPS for iOS | $17.99
This “original high performance GPS for smartphones” is welcoming the iPhone 5 with an optimized taller-screen layout and added integration with Apple’s Maps in iOS 6. The update is not live yet, but folks can grab 10 promo codes for the app in 9to5Forums now.
Angry Birds Space HD for iPad | 99 cents
This NASA/Space-themed game from the popular Angry Birds franchise is $2 off for a limited time. Check out the newly 99 cent app and discover why its “no. 1 in 116 countries!”
