As promised, Apple has added a WWDC channel to Apple TV for viewing the live stream of the conference’s keynote today. The keynote can also be streamed from Apple’s website using Safari on OS X or iOS or QuickTime 7 on Windows. We’ll be live blogging the keynote and posting major news as it is announced for those who cannot view the live stream so stay tuned for full coverage. As a primer, read our complete roundup of what to expect Apple to announce today.

As Apple has done with previous special events, the channel is available on Apple TV without the need for any software update, but you may need to restart your Apple TV if it doesn’t automatically appear.

Navigate to Settings > General > Restart to prompt your device to reboot and catch the WWDC 2014 channel.

The keynote kicks off at 10 am PST/1 pm EST.

This app could be permanent to the Apple TV.

      Why?

we can’t watch (Belgium) it on the Apple TV, we can see on the US site though.

No, not that–the permanence of the Channel. Apple does events twice per year; there’s no reason for it to stick around (other than I am diametrically opposed to Apple having control over what Channels we can see WITHOUT needing a software update to change them).
